Previously, Nasiam was a small Thai restaurant located at Siam square which was the most famous shopping center at that period (around the year 1967) of about 39 years ago. The former owner was Makong Kingyi, a Hong Kong living in Thailand. The restaurant’s name, M.K. Cafe, was abbreviated from his name. At that time, Mrs. Thongkum Mekto was responsible for the kitchen’s task as the restaurant’s cook.
